The mosque, which is found on Tophane Neighborhood, was built by Yalılar Emiri Emir-ül Haç Zade Bedrüddin Ömer in the time of Kaykhusraw I in 1227. 

Being named by Juniperus drupacea in front, the mosque had today’s appearance in 1970. From the old building to present, a court, an entrance, three inscriptions and a part of the minaret have remained today. There is an inscription showing restoration of the structure in 1725. A beautiful sample for woodcarving is possible to see at mimbar of the mosque, which its minaret was made from ashlars. There is a large Seljuk cistern under the narthex and a well called Arab well in front of the structure.
